Founder & Author

Welcome! As you may have guessed by clicking on this button, my name is Rockie Zeigler III. Since you may be wondering, no, Rockie isn’t my real name. It’s Roscoe (everyone asks that the first time we meet). I’m a lifelong Central Illinoisan. I grew up in Normal, then moved to Peoria when I was 18 and I’ve been here ever since (almost 20 years now). I graduated from Bradley University in 2003. I also completed studies at the College For Financial Planning.

Alright, what else? I have an amazing family. A beautiful, patient, and fun-loving wife. Four kids, Astrid (6), Murphy (4), Clarke (3) and Crosby (3). Yep, the last two are boy/girl twins. It can get pretty crazy around my house, but I love it. I wouldn’t have it any other way.

I love Notre Dame football, Cardinals baseball, golf, and lifting weights. I’m currently trying to make myself love running as well. Some days are better than others. I’m also one of the foremost experts on 90's music in the entire Midwest.

I write about investing, personal finance, and self-development at www.theanxiousadvisor.com.

I’ve been featured in media outlets such as CNBCUS News & World ReportThe Huffington Post, The Peoria Journal Star, and WYZZ Fox 43 Peoria.

I’m a CFP® (CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™) Professional which means that I have a high level of education on topics including, but not limited to, financial planning, investment planning, college savings strategies, Social Security, insurance, Medicare, tax planning and estate planning. It also means that I’m held to the highest level of honesty, integrity and ethics in the industry. That’s sort of a big deal too.

I'm a member of The XY Planning Network which is a national network of financial planners. We don't have minimum asset requirements, we don't accept commissions, we don't have pushy sales tactics and we're all sworn fiduciaries.

I'm also a member of of the National Association Of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA). NAPFA is the country’s leading professional association of Fee-Only financial advisors—highly trained professionals who are committed to working in the best interests of those they assist. NAPFA has high standards in the financial advice field. Each advisor is required to sign and renew a fiduciary oath, as well as subscribe to a strict code of ethics.

Professional licenses/designations:

Operations Manager

Hello! I'm Amanda and I am so excited to work with all of you! I grew up in a small town called Lacon, and have just recently moved to Bartonville. I graduated from Midstate College in 2016 with a degree in Business Administration.

Not only do I get to spend my time here, but I also spend a lot of my time running a pizza restaurant in my home town called The Pizza Peel! I know, how can life get any better, right? Yes it does! I get to live this life with my best friend, my rock, and some people even call him my better half. His name is Dayton. I don't have any human children, but I have three furry ones! Two dogs, Bailey and Frankie, and I also have a kitty named Nollie.

If you love the show 'Friends,' then we just became best friends. It's my all time favorite show. I quote it all day, everyday. Baseball (go Cubs go!) and more recently golf are my two favorite sports to watch and attempt to play. I absolutely love long walks through Target with a white chocolate mocha (hot) from Starbucks in my hand. I also enjoy blogging, reading, signing and shopping on Amazon. I'll just admit it, I love everything. The list could go on for miles.
