Welcome! My name is Rockie Zeigler III. Since you may be wondering, no, Rockie isn’t my real name. It’s Roscoe (everyone tends to ask that the first time we meet). I’m a lifelong Central Illinoisan. I grew up in Normal, then moved to Peoria when I was 18 and I’ve been here ever since (almost 20 years now). I graduated from Bradley University in 2003. I also completed studies at the College For Financial Planning.
Alright, what else? I have an amazing family. A beautiful, patient and fun-loving wife. Four kids, Astrid (6), Murphy (4), Clarke (2) and Crosby (2). It can get pretty crazy around my house, but I love it. I wouldn’t have it any other way.
I love Notre Dame football, Cardinals baseball, golf, and lifting weights. I’m currently trying to make myself love running. It’s slow going so far. In more ways than one. I’m also one of the foremost experts on 90s music in the entire Midwest. It’s a pretty big deal.
I write about investing, personal finance, and self-development at www.theanxiousadvisor.com.
I’ve been quoted in national media outlets such as US News & World Report, The American Express Open Forum, Supermoney.com, and Investment News.
I’m a CFP® Professional which means that I have a high level of education on topics including, but not limited to, financial planning, investment planning, college savings strategies, Social Security, insurance, Medicare, tax planning and estate planning. It also means that I’m held to the highest level of honesty, integrity and ethics in the industry. That’s sort of a big deal too.
How about I interview myself so that you can get to know me better?
